City of Quincy Flag Day
The City of Quincy celebrated Flag Day
on June 14th with a lively Parade through the City.
The theme of this year’s Parade was “Honoring Our Troops”. Ciara’s mother rode in the Parade in a car reserved for Gold Star mothers. We were delighted to see so many soldiers in attendance who had returned safely.
During his speech, Mayor Tom Koch thanked our mother for her sacrifice. A fantastic fireworks display brought an end to a wonderful evening where sacrifice was honored and loved ones remembered.
